Our latest software release—version 24.2—is now available, delivering important bug fixes and stability improvements across both our gimbal firmware and SkyLink software. While the update includes a few new features, the primary focus is on resolving issues, enhancing reliability, and optimizing performance in the field.

What’s New in 24.2

This update includes improved heading alignment under dynamic conditions, enhanced gyro bias estimation, and expanded lens and sensor support. Notably, HD45-LV-R users will now find new lens integration included, and SkyLink operators will benefit from better in-flight stabilization tools and improved logging.

Here are just a few highlights:

  • Support for external heading updates with reduced noise
  • New nulling mode and OrionSDK support for improved stabilization
  • Expanded client connections (up to 16)
  • Added support for the PNI Headway sensor
  • Several fixes to improve reliability during retract, calibration, and command processing
  • SkyLink: new interface features, better KLV data handling, and crash fixes
