The HD25 is one of the smallest gimbals available without compromising capability, offering advanced features such as geopointing and h.264 video encoding.

As Trillium's pioneering product, the incorporation of technology typically found in larger systems was the ultimate challenge. The deliberately designed HD25 to holds the same capabilities expected in 8-10" sized systems offering smaller airframes a competitive edge. The HD25-XV is an EO only configuration with a 3x optical zoom visible camera.

  • Albers Aerospace Uses the HD25 Onboard their Sandstorm UAS

The Sandstorm UAS program was developed to provide the US Air Force (or any UAV operator) with a cost-conscious training alternative to using full-sized (and expensive) operational UAVs. This Group 2 UAS requires a feature-rich imaging system gimbal that is light, powerful, and mission proven.

Accessories

  • External regulator

    External Regulator

The HD25 requires regulated 24V for operation. We offer two variations of power regulation optimized for 10V to 21V in, or 17V to 34V in, both providing 24V out.

  • Development Kit Trillium Engineering

    Development Kit

The development kit contains everything you need to work with the gimbal on a bench including, an interface cable, a desktop power supply, and a GPS antenna. A development kit is recommended for all new purchases.

  • HD25 Retract

    HD25 Retract

A retract is often used to protect the HD25 during landing. The retract is controlled through SkyLink and powered by the same 24V rail as the gimbal.
