GD LOC on HD40 HD59

Trillium Engineering is expanding the capabilities of its ISR payload portfolio with GD-Loc now available directly onboard the HD59 Series and HD40-LVV imaging systems. This update enables CAT-1 geolocation capability in GPS-denied environments, without requiring the external Clarity processor, simplifying system integration while maintaining the precision GD-Loc is known for.

By running GD-Loc directly on the payload, operators can access advanced geolocation functionality through a more streamlined system architecture with fewer components and reduced integration complexity.

Precision Geolocation in a Compact Architecture

GD-Loc provides accurate geolocation capability designed to operate even when traditional navigation signals are degraded or unavailable. Using advanced algorithms and onboard processing, the system enables operators to generate reliable geospatial information from airborne ISR imagery.

With GD-Loc integrated directly into the HD59 Series and HD40-LVV, geolocation processing can now occur within the payload itself, eliminating the need for additional processing hardware while preserving mission-critical accuracy. This onboard capability supports platforms that require efficient size, weight, and power (SWaP) optimization while maintaining high-performance ISR functionality.

Enhancing Two Proven ISR Systems

The HD59 Series delivers long-range ISR performance with advanced sensor configurations and laser options, designed for demanding surveillance missions. With GD-Loc now onboard, the system adds geolocation capability without increasing system complexity.

The HD40-LVV, known for its powerful dual visible sensors and exceptional zoom performance, now provides operators with integrated geolocation capability to further enhance situational awareness and target localization.

Expanding Integration Flexibility

Integrating GD-Loc directly into these payloads allows operators and system integrators to deploy geolocation capability with fewer external components and a simplified system architecture.

As ISR missions continue to demand greater capability from compact systems, Trillium remains focused on delivering advanced imaging and processing technologies that enable operators to gather and act on critical intelligence with greater efficiency.
